Goodbye, Zoom

I will miss the way you climbed up my back and helpered while I quilted.

I will miss the way you come running for story time, or treats, or the merest whisper of your name.

Mostly I will miss having your 20 pounds of purr in a 6 pound body next to my ear all night long.

Goodbye, sweet girl.

Go find Grama Eddie. She’s got an awesome lap and gives great sunggles, and I bet your sister will move over when you get there.

  1. Aww, so sorry for your loss. I just listened to your latest podcast and thought we had a couple more weeks with Zoom 🙁 I’m sure she and Zapper have found a nice big pile of quilts to sleep on, right next to Grandma Eddie. RIP Helper Cats!

  2. Pam, I am so sorry to hear that both of your kitties are now gone. I know from listening to all of your podcasts, that they were both a big part of your life and that you loved them dearly.

  3. Dang…those sweet girls will be missed by all. RIP helper cats. Hang in there Pam…too much in too short of a time. I’m not sure whether to send you hugs, chocolate, or a glass, hell…a bottle or 2, of wine.

  4. OMG, I am so sorry for the lost of your two kitties and so very close together. I can not even begin to imagine how hard this must be for you. Please know that you are in my thoughts. I will miss hearing you talking to them during the podcasts.

  5. Sorry for yor loss. I am not good at this sort of thing, however, I understand the hole that a loss of a loved cat leaves. They are a big part of the family.

  6. You comment about how light Zoom had gotten reminded me of thd last days of my own favorite cat, and of her sisters all from a shelter. You obvious love for your cats brought ms a strong wash of happy love for mine, all now gone. Thanks for that. Your helper cats were clealy lucky to live with such love. Hope the next crew brings you joy and snuggles too.

  7. I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family as you grieve and make room for the new furries in your house.
