Sunday Stash and Weekend Wrap-Up

One small finish this week with the Aeroplane Bag, but I made progress on my Saturday Sampler blocks

Going Coastal Block 11 Royal Gardens Block 4

And I also got the Labyrinth quilt top pieced and sandwiched. And, even more importantly, I can now spell “labyrinth” correctly on the first try!

Labyrinth Walk - Basted

Labyrinth Walk Pebbling

I started quilting with some pebbling in the black areas of the maze to make them more recessed from the rest of the quilt.  The dark green will get a slightly less dense pattern, and the light green will probably get the same pattern as the dark green but with a light thread. Lots of burying of ends, but it should be worth it.

  1. Labyrinth looks fantastic! When I made the last quilt I buried the threads as I quilted and didn’t have to spend time with it at the end. Can’t wait to see it quilted!

  2. WOW! Labyrinth is amazing looking! The 3 dimensionality is incredible. Good job! I love your Going Coastal block, too.

  3. I’ll join the fray on cheering for Labyrinth! Very very cool! And I commented on your blocks in Flickr so no repeating myself here… 🙂
