WIP Wednesday – With Precious Bagginses

Two points to whomever gets the literary/movie reference of the title! Be warned that much like in Whose Line Is It Anyway, the points are made up and the points don’t matter.

Fred is concerned with my UFOs

Mostly I’m working on my Aeroplane bag (the orange-ish one in the picture). And by “working on” I mean I finished it last night, so there’s that.  Pics coming later today once the sun is up.

You’ll also be happy to note that Fred looking much happier since my husband got home from a whirlwind fix-em-up-aviation-inspecting trip last night (spanning Arkansas, Nebraska, Illinois and Virginia in a 2-day window). On the minus side, the guy he was helping screwed up and they never got to a hotel. On the plus side, there’s no longer a plane sitting in a corn field in Illinois.

The other thing I’m doing is cutting the remainder of the pieces for the Labyrinth Quilt to start getting it pieced together. I wanted to do a quick re-wash of the fabrics since they are batiks that range from black to dark green to off-white, so I have to re-press some of them.

  1. I don’t know the exact movie/book but that sounds like a Lord of the Rings reference to me. 🙂

    Your poor hubby! LOL
That Labyrinth quilt looks very cool! Good luck! I hope there will be lots of process pics. It is intriguing to say the least.

  2. That line is from the same “guy” that used “tricksy” – and I think he was talking about Hobbitses at the time.

I like the bags so far. The colors and fabrics are pretty!
