WIP Wednesday – Keeping the Feeling

This layout has issues. To keep the beachy feel alive I’ve been working on Going Coastal since we returned from the beach.

As you can see, the helpering is back to normal levels.

I’ve got the top stitched together, and just finished piecing the back last night.  I’m hoping today I’ll get it sandwiched, but the issue is floorspace since my usual layout area is compromised by a giant summer-vacation induced train track in the toy room.

  1. Did you put sashing between the blocks? I know it’ll be a stunning quilt, you just can’t go wrong with those colors! 🙂

  2. Very pretty blocks! I’ve got two helpful cats too. The other day one of them ran right through 80 flying geese I had laid out on the floor… Have a look at the geese on my blog!
Greetings from Austria via WIP Wednesday!

  3. I love all those blues, so calm and peaceful.

I’ve been having the hardest time getting back into real-life mode. I’ve been back to work from vacation since Monday but my brain is still at a music festival.
