Sunday Stash - A Whole Lotta Sewing

Not a ton of usage logged this week for finished projects, although I did sew a whole lot of stuff with the Bonnie Hunter Grand Illusion Mystery!  I finished my jewelry keeper and two headbands, and a pantload of these things for the mystery quilt; for this purpose, 1 pantload = 100 units. See other quilters’ progress on Bonnie’s link-up.

We also had block pick up for Saturday Sampler, so have the final block for Mum Medallion and the 7th block for the Bonnie & Camille quilt. The Mum Medallion block will get sewn into the rest of the top (which is pieced with partial seams around the big hole where this block will go), and then quilted on a long arm (ideally, since it’s a pretty quilt!).

  •  Used this Week: 0.75 yards
    • 0.5 yd for jewelry keeper
    • 0.25 yd for headbands
  • Used year to Date: 321.75 yards
  • Added this Week: 0 yards
    • Woohoo!
  • Net Used for 2014: 194 yards
  • YTD Used for Charity: 116.25 yards (36% of total used)

  1. Lovelies! That blue background star block is so vibrant and gorgeous! And I see you’re using orange instead of pink 🙂 Only 6 more yards to go, you can do it! :)))

  2. Great job on the Grand Illusion MQ. I like your colors. With the birth of my new grandson, I have fallen way behind on that project. But, I will catch up eventually. I like both other blocks posted as well, but sure love those batiks.
