I forgot to account for the intake of the “friend of the guild’s” de-stash last week, which I estimated at about 15 yards or so, so that’s in this week’s numbers. I used a good bit of that to whip up some pillowcases for ConKerr Cancer, and I’ve also got a couple charity quilts cut out and using as leaders and enders while I sew other things, but those finishes probably won’t hit until January or February.
I whipped up a couple more postcards this week, which means I’ve made around 70 of them this year. 61 are getting donated to the East Cobb guild for their show in June, and I sold some for Good Mews and kept a couple for myself.
I also had the last bits of Christmas presents in the finishes this week, including a Minecraft Wolf pillow for my daughter (I’ll post pics of that in a separate post - Santa needed some help with that, but if I start taking pictures of it when she’s around she might get suspicious!), and the Sew Together bag and the nativity bunting for my MIL.
Not included in stash numbers, but done this week is step 5 for the Grand Illusion Mystery Quilt. It was an easy week this week, and the math is keeping me guessing - it feels like this will be set on point with a checkerboard border somewhere?
If I can knock out a couple projects by New Year’s Day, I can bring my net 2014 total up to 200 yards. I’ve got a full-size quilt that might do it, combined with some other smaller projects. Fingers crossed- I’ll do my year-end stash tally on New Year’s Eve or so, complete with graphs!

You are absolutely a winner when it comes to using stash for the year. Those are great numbers! I need to get busy to get my numbers higher. I’m making pillowcases too for charity and they do help get those numbers up on slow weeks, don’t they! lol
329.25 yards total is impressive. I am thinking of keeping track of how much I use next year. We’ll see. I keep track of how much I spend (Oh I have to put in those last 3 fabric purchases!), but am not curious as to how many yards I use.
Nice totals for the year. My net stash used this year is 2017 yards at the moment but I have a few pillowcases ready to sew hoping to get above the 210 net mark here.
