  1. I haven’t finished listening to the podcast but thought that I would add to your “where I listen” - when I am walking and this morning while I am getting ready for my shower… aren’t you glad there isn’t a video component to your show where you can see what we are doing as we listen. He he he. I’ll leave you on that note (to go scour your eyeballs) whilst I get on with the rest of the podcast… (insert evil laugh - he he he doesn’t make it)

  2. Congrats on your quilt show entries AND a ribbon! I think they’re both awesome (Just like you lol). Hope life settles down a bit and you have a wonderful vacation!!

  3. I am not on the #podcastdeliquent list this week. Whew! Your hiatus was good for my catching up.

I don’t know if I ever told you, but we had two cats when I was a kid (we had more but Sunny and Spooky were the major cats in my formative (“oh yeah, I can remember stuff now”) years. I was thinking as I was listening to the end of episode 231 and the beginning of episode 232 that your cats are much more interested in everything than ours were. Perhaps you worked with them as kittens? Ours were mostly interested in sleeping and got high marks for finding available laps and other available flat-ish surfaces that worked for napping. Of course, there weren’t quilts in my childhood home, so that may be the difference.

I am confused about your Kitchen Sink quilt. Did you create the center yourself and put it in - as in that was not part of the BOM?

I really appreciated your analysis of the judging and especially that you went over your quilts in detail. It was very helpful. some of the comments that you made about why you thought the judges said something could be improved made me think about my process and some of the decisions I make to rip or not to rip.

  4. Hey! I’ve been meaning to comment for awhile but never do! I’ve been stalking your podcast since about the beginning of the year and love your sense of humor. I don’t have much time to sew and quilt but listen to a couple podcasts at work so it kind of feels like I’m being creative when in fact I’m looking at spreadsheets. It cracks me up when you mention spreadsheets and I’m working on one!!!

  5. Thanks for the report on your quilt judging. It certainly took the fear out of it for me, by taking me past Fear and directly to Despair.

Leave a Comment! I often respond to comments in the next recorded podcast, but if you want a reply here, just let me know!
