Sunday Stash -Piling Up

A bit backwards this week as I only finished a pillowcase and the pile-up of tops to be quilted continued to grow! I also purchased a set of 4 fat quarters and some backing fabric  with the gift certificate I won last December at my guild.

I also got ALL but two pieces of fabric for the East Cobb Quilters’ Guild raffle quilt. That’s certainly not going into my stash, but boy, making all those decisions with three other people really led to some decision fatigue! I went home and laid on the couch and read a book after fabric shopping for three straight hours. Whew.

As of right now, I’ve got 5 quilts ready to be quilted - the king-sized Christmas quilt, Allietare, Stray Cat Strut, and two commission quilts, and one under the needle.  The one under the needle is a wholecloth quilt that I think will get done by Tuesday evening. Since it’s wholecloth, the quilting is pretty intense, so it’s taking a while. Then the commission quilts will follow, all while interspersed with cutting the pieces for the raffle quilt.

  1. 3 hrs fabric shopping, wow! No wonder you were tired! I only shop online now and could not imagine spending 3 hrs in a store 🙂 kudos to you!
