  1. Love the podcat moniker.

You can still do the Sparkling Gems with your own fabrics, though I do get it that you might not want 30 quilts for your bed. I sometimes fold quilts in half to put on the YM’s bed when they are too big, assuming he will have a larger bed at some point.

I know I have a problem with brown, but I don’t dislike chocolate brown. I think beige is more of a problem for me.

Do you have a charm bracelet for your East Cobb awards? Or one of those early 80s charm holders?

Isn’t math - like addition and subtraction - way different than calculus? I really have no idea since I got side eye rolls from the YM when he was taking calculus and I would ask questions, trying to understand. For myself, I barely passed Geometry, a pre-requisite to Algebra 2, which was some kind of pre-req to Calculus in high school.

I am sure the bad math this week was a weird glitch and not a personality trait.

You will have a whole bunch of finishes in the next little while! Good for you. Can’t wait to see.

This feels like a meh comment. That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy your podcast, which I did very much! Perhaps I am not at my best today. DH has been snoring which wakes me up in the middle of the night, so perhaps I am sleep deprived? Have a great weekend.

  2. Re Math: I know the feeling. It was the same when I was trying to install an automated reticulation system this week. It was like the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. I think there must be a special facial expression that occurs at the moment of realization when the momentum of casual confidence hits the brick wall of uncomprehending confusion.

  3. if only my helper cat would confine himself to a bed…he prefers to ride around on the quilt i’m quilting….at least i should be safe in the event that a hurricane develops in my sewing room…that quilt is going nowhere!!
