Sunday Stash - Small Quilt, Big Blocks

This week I finished up my smallish wallhanging, but of course can’t show pictures of it since it’s a gift. But! I did finish my Saturday Sampler blocks, one of which is here:

Having finished the border blocks last week, I have lots of little snippets and leftovers of these gorgeous colors to make into a companion smaller quilt. Now to figure out the silly design. Pfft - details!

I’m also almost done with some giant blocks for a wedding gift quilt - no pictures yet, but the blocks are ready to assemble in the top, and I’ll get it quilted this week.

  • Used this Week: 1 yard
    • 1 yd for gift wallhanging
  • Used Year to Date: 99.5 yards
  • Added this Week: 0 yard
    • Woohoo!
  • Net Used YTD: 44.75 yards
  • YTD Used for Charity: 41.25 yards (41% of total used)

  1. I like the colors in this block. Glad you are getting things done. I have been piecing and cleaning up the stash. I have finished several baby quilts and 3 other UFOs. I took the king size and a queen quilt to the long arm quilter last week leaving me free to quilt the 5 or 6 other tops in the pile. Yeah! have a great week!
