Sunday Stash – A Quarter at a Time

I got home fom travelling last night, so not much to report as usage except for the small travel project I took with me. I compensated for that by buying a fat quarter at a quilt shop near my parents’ house!

I did also pick up my Saturday Sampler blocks for June (slightly off schedule), and those are ready for July turn-in.  On the left is the latest 30’s sampler block, and on the right is the first block in the new program I’m doing called “Summertime Blues”.  I’m partial to the blue one right now, and will use these first 6 30’s blocks to make a donation quilt.

I’m excited to get back into the swing of things for the next month, then I have a short 2 day trip out west again!

  1. LOVE the blue one! Only finish here this week was a flannel baby quilt that I started a few months ago as my first foray into sashing. It’s pretty jacked up but the fabric is cute, and it’s super soft. I also, rather accidentally, pieced a top for a navy and coral baby quilt. Hopefully I’ll finish that this week!
