  1. I am apologetically living in my own world of unicorns, rainbows, puppies and magic. So I am loving the newest version of Guardians and plan to see Pirates. Reading is not something i can do but the last books I read all were fantasy. It keeps life balanced. The are enough things to stress me out in a week and my free time needs to be stress free , as much as possible.

  2. I am with Vicki – trying to live in my own little bubble of unicorns, rainbows and puppies. Apropos of nothing you said in the podcast, BTW, I just thought I would let you know. Yes, I think we should be ok with escaping in books or movies or whatever. I am trying to think of a way to say I saw Pirates without apology. Perhaps something about needing an escape?

I am curious about your new car. What kind did you get? I have an 18YO Toyota and know that a new car is in my future. At some point it passed from “good for me for not being a consumer” to “this car is embarrassing.

I was *really* kidding about the second Dresden Garden. You just make me laugh whenever you talk about Dresden Garden – not because it is a funny quilt.

I read Heat Storm. It is after the one you read. I enjoyed it. There was a lot -A LOT- of adrenaline in it. Heat Storm harkens back to the one with the beer magnate, so read that one, if you haven’t read it yet, before you read Heat Storm. The story was entertaining and it made me miss the Castle TV show. Have some great days off.
