HtbaS – Episode 300

It’s the 300th episode of this crazy quilting podcast. We have it all – sewing, cats, books, hotel bathroom art, and more! I’m in between trips so haven’t gotten a lot of stitching in, but am excited for what’s to come in the upcoming months.

Books reviewed:

Today’s podcat was Nina, who has gotten over her snit and is glad I’m home.

In Ep 294 of the Hip to be a Square quilting podcast, I talk about my fabric stash usage for 2016, working on the Bonnie Hunter Mystery En Provence, some of the late quilt finishes last year, and give a review of recent books and Netflix series I’ve enjoyed.

Here is the dragon wallhanging I made for Lynn, “Stitch’s Glamor Shot”. Paper piecing pattern from Fandom in Stitches.

HtbaS – Episode 285

Although I didn’t think I had much to talk about this week, I end up waxing poetic about the AQS censorship situation from the Grand Rapids show, and a little about the Modern Quilt Guild blog and revision to the description of derivative work.  I also discuss plans for The Stitch TV Show while attending the Sew Pro convention next week in Chicago.

HtbaS – Episode 284

This week I talk about various totebag and quilting projects, as well as give a recipe review and overview of Cashew Chicken!  I also talk about books I’ve read (or “experienced”) in the last two weeks and give a short preview of the coming weeks.
