Sunday Stash – Defunkified

Whatever funk I’ve been under appears to be lifting, which is good all around. As a result I’ve gotten back into some sewing this week and I’ve finished up two quilts! Both are pretty small, but one I can’t show pictures of until next month.  Once Elefun comes out of the dryer I’ll take it out for pictures and post them, although I still have to make a label for it.

I’ve also been working on my Quilt of Valor; so far all the HSTs are fun, and I’m working on the 4 patches, which I’m hoping to have done after today’s sewing.

  • Used this Week: 8 yards
    • 3 yd for Elefun
    • 5 yd for Road Trip
  • Used year to Date: 83 yards
  • Added this Week: 0 yards
    • Woohoo!
  • Net Used for 2014: 29.75 yards
  • YTD Used for Charity: 33 yards (44% of total used)

Glad you are getting out of your funk, we all get those at times. Weather, stress and just life in general can do it. Congrats on your finishes.

I know that most quilters go through funks now and again – I had mine a few weeks back! Your Elfun quilt is adorable.

Glad you got your mojo back. I find when I’m most productive in the sewing room I am usually avoiding housework. Just sayin’ ….

Yay, you will be staying in the green most likely from now on! I know how that funk feels. If I could only shoo it away! :)
