Quilts of Valor – Finished!

I’m just now getting around to posting photos of quilts I finished at the end of the last year, so first up is a pair of patriotic quilts being donated to the local Veterans Affairs hospital.

The first is a series of simple offset Hunters Stars.  When I was cutting the reds and blues for the star centers, I was thinking I was doing nine-patches. Size-wise, I needed four patches, so I had a lot of leftover squares!

The second quilt is a Disappearing Nine Patch made with those leftover squares!

These are on their way to the hospital and a good home!

  1. I love them both Pam! Did you use a pattern for the one with the stars (top?) or was it your own creation? I love it 🙂
